| Tournaments - Kevin | | The thing I like best about tournaments is finding fish. I am more confident in my ability to find fish than anything else. What attracts me to tournaments though, is that I enjoy exploring new water and tuning in to the particular body of water that we are on. | | | The other thing I love about tournaments, is that they teach you to trust your instincts. Every time I have done this, I have had a great tournament. One time I even had a dream the night before a tournament on Saginaw Bay. This dream was vivid, pausing a jerk bait and catching huge fish after huge fish. The next morning I was describing this to my partner and in mid sentence boom, I caught a 4-7. On the next cast I caught a 4-8. We won by over five pounds. I only wish those dreams happened more often! | | |
