If you are looking to go on a guided bass fishing trip in Florida on Lake Okeechobee you have found the right captain! I am Capt. Kevin long and I have been guiding on Lake Okeechobee and the Florida Everglades for 10 years.

Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned veteran I will tailor each trip to best fit your needs-from a relaxing day of shiner fishing to the latest cutting edge tournament techniques.

My goal as a professional fishing guide is to exceed each customer’s expectations by fishing the best areas with the best patterns for the conditions we have during our trip.

We will fish in comfort from a new Ranger bass boat with top of the line rods, reels, line and tackle. Through a strong work ethic you can rest assured that all equipment is in good order, hooks are sharp and proper preparations have been made the night prior to our trip.

I take a lot of pride in being a full-time professional fishing guide. When a client says ‘that is the biggest fish I have ever caught!’,that customer has a memory that will last forever, and that is the motivation that keeps me going.

I have fished the tournament trails against some of the best fishermen in the country for quite some time now. Strong friendships have evolved, notes have been shared and I enjoy passing along what I have learned over the years to you. I hope we can fish together sometime this season.
